South Austin Pregnancy Resource Center serves individuals and families with unplanned pregnancies. Throughout the year we provide free programs that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of new parents.This Christmas we are seeking to provide the parents they serve with newborn baby packages. These Christmas care packages should consist of size 5 diapers, wipes, Similac for infants, 18 to 24 month boys winter clothes which includes pants, long sleeve shirts, jackets, sweaters, shoes, baby blankets, and winter maternity clothes.
Refugee Services of Texas’ Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program (STEP) plays a vital role in caring for the victims of human trafficking in our city by making sure the victims and their families don’t just survive human trafficking, but can actually thrive in life after their experiences. Each year, the survivors of trafficking in Austin give STEP their Christmas presents list. This year, we are excited to be able to partner with STEP to get all of the Christmas presents for the survivors of trafficking.
The Settlement Home for Children seeks to promote healing and growth for children who have experienced severe trauma, abuse and neglect. They have had each of the children in their foster care program fill out a Christmas wish list. This way they can provide assistance to the foster parents in creating a memorable holiday for kids in care.
Austin Children's Shelter provides a safe haven for children and youth from birth to 18 years old who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect. This Christmas, they are seeking to provide wish list items for children in their shelter program, and families in their prevention program, by matching individuals, families or missional communities with a child or a family in need.

Volunteers will assist Parents/Guardians in wrapping the Christmas gifts purchased for their child/children. Volunteer will need to be 18+ and have the ability to wrap presents. Volunteers are needed for December 7 & 8, 9 am-2 pm and December 9, 9 am-2 pm & 4 pm-7 pm.
International students are recently arrived immigrants from all over the world. We have many families struggling to make ends meet, and definitely unable to provide gifts and even hot meals during the holiday season. We are looking for sponsors to adopt one of our families for gifts this holiday season. All donations must be made before December 18 (last day of school).
Breath of Life Maternity Ministries serves and supports pregnant women who are experiencing homelessness. We will be picking up a large number of gifts for 20 kids of the mothers with whom we have worked. We will then need to wrap them and distribute them. If we get enough of us, it can be a relatively short amount of time to share joy! Volunteers will need their own transportation, but all ages can help. This will take place Saturday, Dec. 19th.

At Christmas each year they provide stockings filled with small gifts for all the children they serve through their residential and community prevention programs. This Christmas they are looking for individuals, families or missional communities to provide stocking stuffer items for children in their programs to have in their stockings. Items such as small gifts or candy are great ideas.
The Giocosa Foundation, a licensed foster care placing agency, was established in 1988 as an alternative to long-term institutional care for emotionally disturbed youth and adolescents. This Christmas they are seeking individuals, families or missional communities who want to participate in caring for the children they serve by fulfilling a Christmas. Each request will have a limit of 3 gifts for each individual child with a limit of $20 or less per gift.
Angelheart is a foster care licensing agency located in Round Rock that seeks to make a positive impact in the life of every family they serve. This Christmas they are seeking to give each of their foster youth gift cards to Target and Walmart. Most youth enjoy having the opportunity to shop for their own favorite things and a gift card also provides a great learning opportunity to teach youth how to budget their money.
The Austin Foster Closet is a new program in Austin that partners with local foster care placing agencies to provide support to foster parents when they receive children in their home. This Christmas they are in need of Emergency Placement Packages. These packages are designed to support foster parents receiving emergency placements with enough supplies to care for their child for the first 48 hours of placement. The packages include varied items based on the age and gender of the child.
Caring Family Network is a foster care and adoption agency. We received Christmas wish list items for our foster children, and are seeking volunteers to help wrap the gifts. The Ronald McDonald House offers families a place to sleep, eat, and relax while their children receive medical treatment at nearby hospitals, and their Family Rooms provide a place of respite for parents and families of children hospitalized in the NICU at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and at Dell Children’s Medical Center. They need volunteers to host a Holiday Wish List Drive. Volunteers will collect items during November and December from our Holiday Wish List (posted on our website - https://rmhc-ctx.org/get-involved/wish-list/) and donate them to RMHC. These gift items will be given to the families that are staying with us on Christmas Day.
Community First! Village is a planned community providing affordable, sustainable housing for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas. Volunteers assist in providing hospitality for larger group events, such as concerts, movie nights, community-wide service events, Christmas and Thanksgiving meals.
Friends for life is a ministry that cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities. Come wrap gifts for the elderly and people with disabilities. These gifts are the only gift that this person will receive for Christmas. Wrapping parties will take place Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 from 9am-12pm. Volunteers under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
